A place for books

I finally have a gallery—a kind of digital bookshelf —for the books I’ve read. I keep the growing list here in the Reading and Watching room of my Web Home.

I love to read, recommend and talk about books with others, but between my Kindle app, Libby app, Bookshop.org, my book club’s lists and reading apps I’ve tried such as Goodreads (blech) and Fable (it’s okaaayyy), keeping track of books has been a nightmare.

Now I have a yearly gallery collection of books I’ve read. I’ll be adding titles as I finish them so that I can remember title and author names and for anyone else with similar taste.

It’s only a list for 2026, but going forward, my book lists will live here year to year.

I have purposely not added links to any book seller and I haven’t rated or reviewed any of them. That would be great—but way too much work at this point, and I know I won’t be able to keep that up.

If the book is on my list, it means I finished it so I liked it well enough (I don’t finish books I don’t like. No time for that!) Now, yes, some I LOVED and some I have lots to talk about—but that will take conversation or some personal journaling—a perfect thing to do in this room as I live in my Web Home. But for now, my shelf is up to date .
